Humain, a Saudi AI firm backed by the Public Investment Fund, is building an IPO team ahead of a potential dual exchange listing news on the Saudi exchange and Nasdaq by 2028–2029. Founded in May 2025, the company has partnered with Nvidia, Qualcomm, and Google. It is seeking $5 billion for data centers and $2.5 billion for AI + crypto news-related investments.

Humain, the Saudi Arabian AI company backed by the Public Investment Fund, is building out an internal team specifically tasked with getting the company ready to go public. CEO Tareq Amin posted on LinkedIn seeking candidates with backgrounds in major management consultancies to join a small, focused group dedicated to IPO preparation.

The company was founded in May 2025 under the umbrella of PIF, the sovereign wealth fund controlled by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

What Humain is building

The roles Humain is filling aren’t ceremonial. The team will be responsible for complex financial analysis, crafting investor narratives, and producing the kinds of materials that institutional investors demand before writing large checks.

Humain has previously signaled its ambition for a dual listing on the Saudi exchange and Nasdaq. The timeline, based on earlier statements, points to a window roughly 3-4 years from late 2025. That puts a potential listing somewhere around 2028 or 2029.

The company’s core business spans AI infrastructure development and Arabic-language model creation. It has already locked in partnerships with Nvidia, Qualcomm, and Google.

The money behind the machine

Humain has been exploring data center financing of $5 billion or more, along with a separate $2.5 billion fundraising effort for dedicated investments.

PIF manages hundreds of billions of dollars in assets and has been aggressively deploying capital into technology as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, an initiative aimed at diversifying the kingdom’s economy away from oil dependence.

Challenges on the road to listing

Talent acquisition has already emerged as a challenge for Humain. Fast-scaling AI companies are competing for a limited pool of engineers, researchers, and operational leaders.

The dual-listing ambition adds another layer of complexity. Meeting the regulatory and disclosure requirements of both the Saudi exchange and Nasdaq simultaneously demands significant legal and financial infrastructure. Companies that have pursued dual listings historically face higher compliance costs and more demanding reporting obligations.

The UAE has been investing heavily in AI through entities like G42, which has its own set of partnerships with major US tech companies.
