Russia's Sberbank is exploring ruble loans backed by Bitcoin to improve liquidity and crypto markets, according to RIA Novosti. The bank is working with regulators to ensure compliance, including Countering the Financing of Terrorism requirements. Sberbank has issued over 160 digital assets this year, including tokenized real estate and oil. Russian exchanges are preparing for a regulated crypto regime set for 2026.
