Rumble has agreed to acquire Northern Data for $767 million, following Tether’s sale of its Bitcoin mining unit, Peak Mining, for up to $200 million to a firm controlled by Tether’s Devasini and Ardoino. Northern Data, which crypto investors have closely watched, previously faced an EU probe over alleged tax fraud, which it denied.
