Benzinga Pro data showed Roblox shares falling 17.44% to $43.31 in Friday premarket trading after Roblox released third-quarter results. Roblox reported 138 million daily active users, down 9% year over year. The user decline and a weaker fourth-quarter bookings forecast hurt investor sentiment.

Roblox projects $380 million in fourth-quarter capital expenditures, including $140 million moved from the third quarter. Roblox expects capital spending for the full year to total $468 million.
Roblox reported a quarterly loss of 32 cents per share, compared with analysts' consensus forecast of a 40-cent loss. Roblox reported $1.7 billion in bookings, exceeding Wall Street's $1.62 billion estimate. GAAP revenue reached $1.57 billion. Bookings also surpassed guidance because engagement and retention improved. However, Roblox continued to face monetization difficulties among younger users in the United States.
Roblox said seasonally adjusted retention reached the highest level since 2021. Roblox reported 18% year-over-year growth in daily active users aged 18 and older. International growth remained strong, with India leading at 37% and Japan following at 33%.

Roblox reported that more than 80% of the top 100 games ranked by hours played used AI. Roblox is developing Universal Player, an AI-powered tool intended to help creators adapt PC, console and mobile games for Roblox. Universal Player will integrate multiplayer features, compatibility across devices, safety tools and Roblox's virtual economy.
Roblox Build has supported the publication of more than 70,000 games and attracted more than 500,000 testers. Roblox plans a United States launch for Roblox Build in December 2026 and a worldwide rollout in 2027. Roblox plans to increase marketing to users aged 18 and older under Roblox Everywhere. Roblox also plans to distribute selected games as standalone apps through major app stores in the first half of 2027.
Roblox Reality aims to offer early access in the first half of 2027. Roblox also plans to expand gaming options offline and through browsers.
