Robinhood is in talks with Crypto.com to integrate its yes-or-no event contracts into its prediction markets hub, according to crypto news. The deal may include an equity stake in Crypto.com, adding to existing partners like Kalshi and Rothera. Robinhood’s platform has already seen over 16 billion event contracts traded in 2026, with more than one million active users. The move comes as crypto today sees growing interest in structured products and derivatives.

Robinhood is negotiating a deal with Crypto.com that would bring the crypto platform’s yes-or-no event contracts into Robinhood’s prediction markets hub, alongside an equity stake in Crypto.com. The talks, first reported by The Wall Street Journal, represent another aggressive move by the brokerage to cement itself as the go-to aggregator for prediction market trading.

The partnership would add Crypto.com to a growing roster of contract suppliers that already includes Kalshi, Interactive Brokers’ ForecastEx, and Rothera, a prediction exchange Robinhood launched through a joint venture with Susquehanna International Group in 2025.

A business line that’s scaling fast

In 2026, the platform has already recorded over 16 billion event contracts traded, surpassing the more than 12 billion contracts traded across all of 2025. Over one million users are now actively participating on Robinhood’s prediction markets platform in 2026.

Bernstein analysts have projected that prediction market revenues could reach roughly $1.7 billion annually by 2028. Those same analysts suggested prediction markets could surpass crypto-related transaction revenues at Robinhood as early as the second quarter of 2026.

Robinhood first entered the prediction markets space in March 2025 through an initial partnership with Kalshi, the CFTC-regulated exchange that pioneered event contracts in the US.

Why Crypto.com makes sense as a partner

Crypto.com has been carving out its own position in the US event contracts space through its OG platform, which launched in February 2026 and operates under CFTC registration. In roughly six months, weekly activity on OG grew about 40 times over, according to the company’s reported figures.

The equity stake component of the deal hints at something deeper than a standard vendor relationship. Taking an ownership position in Crypto.com would give Robinhood financial exposure to the broader crypto infrastructure sector while also creating alignment between the two companies.

The competitive landscape is heating up

Kalshi, which helped pioneer the US regulated prediction market, has been the incumbent supplier for Robinhood since day one. The addition of Crypto.com would effectively dilute Kalshi’s position within the Robinhood ecosystem, introducing direct competition for contract placement and visibility.

ForecastEx, backed by Interactive Brokers, brings institutional credibility and the backing of one of the most established electronic brokerages in the world. Rothera, Robinhood’s own venture with Susquehanna, gives the company vertical integration and better economics on at least some portion of its prediction market volume.
