CoinDesk reports:

According to DeFiLlama data, Robinhood Chain’s decentralized exchange trading volume over the past 24 hours rose to $1.595 billion, a 61% increase from $989 million on August 28. This Ethereum Layer 2, powered by Arbitrum, continues to see growing on-chain activity two months after its launch.

Multiple on-chain metrics are rising in tandem.

As of September 1, the total value locked (TVL) in DeFi on Robinhood Chain was $738.11 million, with the market capitalization of stablecoins at $796.74 million. According to DeFiLlama, the chain also recorded $353.96 million in daily perpetual contract trading volume and $2.524 billion in cross-chain asset inflows.

These metrics reflect on-chain activity across different dimensions: DEX trading volume represents on-chain spot trading, TVL tracks assets deposited into DeFi protocols, and cross-chain assets include funds transferred to the network, regardless of whether they have entered specific protocols.

Trading volume surged rapidly after the mainnet launch in July.

Robinhood Chain entered public testing in February 2026 and officially launched on mainnet on July 1. The network supports 24/7 trading of tokenized stocks, and eligible users can also lend these assets or use them as collateral.

In the first week after mainnet launch, Robinhood Chain processed over 17 million transactions, attracted nearly 350,000 addresses, and achieved cumulative DEX trading volume exceeding $1 billion. By late July, DeFiLlama reported daily DEX trading volume of approximately $433 million, ranking fifth among all blockchains at the time.

TVL increased nearly eightfold compared to July.

Compared to July data, Robinhood Chain’s current TVL has approached eight times that level, and stablecoin volume has roughly tripled. In July, the chain’s TVL was approximately $94 million, and stablecoin balances stood just above $260 million.

Robinhood’s crypto business head, Johann Kerbrat, previously stated in an August interview that the chain had processed over 200 million transactions. At the time, he said Robinhood Chain’s strategy was to strike a balance between traditional financial products and highly volatile tokens that attract crypto traders.

Based on current on-chain activity, early engagement has been largely driven by meme coins, with trading volume briefly surpassing that of Robinhood’s original tokenized stocks offering.
