Ripple Prime has introduced cross-margining capabilities, allowing institutional clients to manage RWA swaps alongside other supported asset classes. The arrangement consolidates margin requirements and risk management under one brokerage relationship.

Additionally, clients can use Ripple USD (RLUSD) as collateral for RWA swap transactions, supporting portfolio management across markets. Virtu has begun trading through the service, expanding its participation in emerging institutional liquidity markets.

“Virtu is ramping up across emerging liquidity pools, and Ripple Prime’s 24/7 cross-margining across asset classes helps us expand our presence more efficiently as markets move toward round-the-clock access,” stated Scotte Moegling, Virtu’s head of business development for digital assets.
