Ripple and Coinbase Join 125+ Firms to Lobby Against Stablecoin Reward Restrictions

More than 125 cryptocurrency firms, including Ripple, Coinbase, and Stripe, have backed a letter opposing changes to the GENIUS Act’s stablecoin reward rules. The Blockchain Association and others argue the current law lets platforms offer legal incentives without hurting banks or causing deposit losses. They say revisiting the law could limit consumer options and slow innovation in blockchain-based payments.
