According to Bijing.com, Revolut has eliminated all fees for Tezos (XTZ) staking rewards, directly crediting 100% of on-chain earnings to user accounts. The fintech giant introduced this change as part of its updated automated staking feature, aligning with the Tezos ecosystem's efforts to streamline network participation following the Rio protocol upgrade, which reduced staking cycles to one day. XTZ staking stands out among Revolut's 13 native cryptocurrencies, with rewards automatically added to user balances while maintaining liquidity. The move highlights Revolut's strategic focus on usability, allowing users to earn staking rewards without going through validator processes or adjusting settings. This aligns with Revolut's broader expansion in crypto services and regulatory compliance. The company announced the update on November 27, 2025, following a valuation surge to $75 billion from a secondary stock sale led by investors including Coatue, Fidelity, and NVIDIA's venture arm. Revolut also secured an EU MiCA license to offer crypto services in the EEA, and has partnered with Polygon Labs to facilitate cross-border stablecoin transfers. The company's growth strategy includes entering 30 new markets and pursuing a full UK banking license, with CEO Nik Storonsky aiming to reach 100 million global users.
