Regal Global Entertainment completes refinancing of its term loan following Moody's upgrade of its rating.

The spread has been reduced by 50 basis points to SOFR plus 400 basis points, expected to save approximately $9.3 million in annual cash interest expenses.

Knoxville, Tennessee, October 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Regal Global Entertainment (referred to as “Regal” or the “Company”), the world’s second-largest cinema exhibition company, today announced the successful repricing of its $1.9 billion term loan facility.

This transaction reduces the interest rate spread by 50 basis points, from SOFR plus 450 basis points to SOFR plus 400 basis points, expected to save approximately $9.3 million in annual interest expenses. The maturity date and all other material terms remain substantially unchanged. The company stated that the transaction received strong support from lenders.

Regal stated that over the past three years, the company has cumulatively reduced its term loan spread by 450 basis points, resulting in approximately $80 million in annualized interest savings.

This repricing follows Moody’s recent upgrade of Regal’s corporate family rating from B3 to B2, along with a positive outlook. The company stated that the rating upgrade and strong lender demand reflect growing recognition in the credit market of Regal’s improving financial condition.

Thomas Song, Chief Financial Officer of Regal Global Entertainment, said: “Moody’s upgrade to a positive outlook, followed by broad market support for our repricing, clearly demonstrates the progress we’ve made. Our business is experiencing strong consumer demand, and the credit market has recognized this.”

Song also stated: “Since emerging from restructuring, we have reduced our borrowing costs by 450 basis points, and every dollar we save on interest can be reinvested at high returns into our theaters, our premium screening formats, and our customers. As we create long-term value for all stakeholders, we will continue to manage our capital structure with discipline.”
