In accordance with Coinpedia, RedotPay, a fintech firm specializing in stablecoin-based payments, has integrated Ripple’s cross-border payment technology to expand its global transfer capabilities. The update, announced on December 2, allows verified users to send XRP or other supported cryptocurrencies and have recipients receive Nigerian naira (NGN) directly into local bank accounts within minutes. The new feature supports multiple digital assets, including USDC, USDT, BTC, ETH, SOL, TON, TRX, XRP, and BNB. Ripple’s upcoming RLUSD stablecoin will also be added once available. Jack Cullinane, Ripple’s Asia-Pacific commercial lead, noted the partnership demonstrates how blockchain can simplify international payments. RedotPay plans to expand payout options to more countries, following earlier rollouts in Brazil and Mexico.
