Redmond, Washington, October 6 /PRNewswire/ — Radiant Logistics, Inc. (NYSE American: RLGT) today announced the acquisition of the Dallas operations of Whitacre Logistics Services, LLC, through its wholly owned subsidiary Radiant Road & Rail, Inc., effective October 1, 2026. Radiant Logistics is a leading provider of technology-driven global transportation and value-added logistics solutions.

Whitacre’s Dallas operations primarily focus on multimodal and truck brokerage services, serving customers across industries such as building materials, industrial manufacturing, and packaging. The company stated that the structure of this transaction is similar to previous deals, with a portion of the expected purchase price to be paid in future periods, contingent upon the future performance of the acquired business.

After the transaction, the acquired business will continue to operate as part of Radiant Road & Rail, led by Jeff Vielhaber, who will also oversee the development of Radiant Road & Rail’s agency network. Jeff will report to Chris Brach, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Radiant’s U.S. Brokerage Business.

Gary Whitacre, owner of Whitacre, said: “Dallas represents an exciting expansion opportunity, and a significant portion of the business is in intermodal, an area where Radiant has deep expertise. This transaction ensures that the Dallas business is in the right hands, allowing us to continue focusing on our core operations in the Ohio River Valley. I’m grateful that Radiant has become a partner who understands and respects what we’ve built, and I’m confident that under Jeff’s continued leadership, both customers and employees in Dallas will be well served.”

Jeff Vielhaber said: “For years, customers have been our top priority, and finding the right long-term partner for them has been essential to me. Radiant’s technology platform and deep expertise in multimodal logistics make it the ideal choice to support our expansion in Dallas. I’m excited to bring this customer-first approach to a broader stage—growing our customer base in Dallas while helping Radiant expand its agency network across the U.S.”

Bohn Crain, Founder and CEO of Radiant, said: “We are excited to have the opportunity to work with Gary Whitacre on this Dallas transaction and look forward to collaborating with Jeff and the rest of the team. We aim to accelerate the growth of our dual-mode brokerage platform, and this transaction provides an excellent opportunity to support the acquired customer base—with domestic and international freight forwarders, customs brokers, and a range of additional value-added services—through a robust technology platform and an expanded service portfolio.”
