According to Huoxing Finance, Yuvi Lightman, Founder and CEO of Quantus, posted on X that the Quantus quantum-resistant blockchain mainnet will launch on Wednesday, September 9. Initially, the only way to acquire tokens will be through mining; liquidity and tradability will be enabled several weeks later. The team has integrated Immunefi’s security work into the public codebase and completed all fixes from the audit competition. The chain supports ML-DSA-65 and ML-DSA-87, binding each signature to its context according to the FIPS 204 standard, implementing fail-closed behavior for undecodable multisignature transactions, and hardening the network stack against denial-of-service attacks. The team conducted end-to-end drills on a global pre-mainnet with coverage across the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Australia, using automated pipelines to generate signature binaries, deploying multi-region bootnodes and dedicated RPC nodes via Infrastructure-as-Code, and reducing indexer memory usage from over 90% to approximately 26%. Additionally, Quantus has launched its launch sign-up page, completed a website redesign, added multi-account support to the Keystone hardware wallet, and released CLI v2.1.3 and miner v4.0.2. Quantum & Privacy Day will be co-hosted with NEAR in Singapore on October 8, coinciding with Token2049.
