Odaily Planet Daily report: Japanese publicly traded company Quantum Solutions has again sold 1,000 Ethereum tokens, cashing out approximately $1.9 million to support the expansion of its AI data center. Following this sale, the company has reduced its ETH holdings by nearly 30% since mid-June.
According to company documents, Quantum Solutions' subsidiary, GPT Pals Studio, sold this batch of ETH on Thursday at an average price of $1,903. The company expects this transaction to result in a loss of approximately $100,000. After the sale, Quantum Solutions holds approximately 4,765 ETH remaining, below Def Consulting’s 4,976 ETH, thus losing its status as the largest corporate ETH reserve among Japanese listed companies.
Quantum Solutions has sold a total of 1,904 ETH in less than two months, representing approximately 28.6% of its prior holding of 6,668.8 ETH. Previously, GPT Pals sold 904 ETH on June 16, cashing out approximately $1.6 million.
The company purchased the majority of its ETH during the peak of the crypto market in the fourth quarter of 2025, when ETH prices ranged between $4,000 and $4,500.
