QClaw, Tencent’s AI assistant, will cease operations on December 24, with new user registration now closed. The shutdown follows business adjustments, and data migration support will be provided. Launched in March as part of the 'Dragon Lobster' suite, QClaw served individuals, developers, and businesses. This update has appeared in on-chain news and AI + crypto news circles.

Huo Xing Cai Jing reports that on September 24, the official homepage of the local AI assistant QClaw stated that, due to business adjustments, QClaw will cease new user registrations effective immediately and will officially shut down on December 24. The official announced that it will support user data migration and provide积分 subsidies to users who migrate. According to Jiupai News, on March 10 of this year, Tencent launched its full lineup of "Lobster" products targeting general users, developers, and enterprise users, including WorkBuddy, QClaw, Tencent Cloud Lighthouse, the Agent Development Platform (ADP), and Tencent Cloud Desktop. At the time, Tencent announced that QClaw was in internal testing. Tencent described QClaw as a local AI assistant built on OpenClaw, supporting one-click installation on Windows and Mac, and enabling remote control via WeChat conversations. After users send commands via their mobile WeChat app, the assistant automatically performs tasks on the computer and returns the results.
