Odaily Planet Daily reports: Bitcoin News posted on X that PyBLOCK, one of the largest Bitcoin mining pools supporting BIP-110 besides Roughnecks, has been advised to suspend signaling for BIP-110 until further notice. PyBLOCK stated it will continue mining “completely clean, zero-spam blocks,” consistent with its approach prior to BIP-110. Roughnecks confirmed the suspension, saying: “Yes, temporarily stopping. BIP-110 is not over, but mining under the current algorithm is mostly wasteful. More updates will follow.”
PyBLOCK and Roughnecks Suspend BIP-110 Signaling
KuCoinFlashShare
PyBLOCK, a major Bitcoin mining pool supporting BIP-110, has paused signaling for the protocol amid changing market conditions. This decision follows a rise in trader uncertainty, as reflected by the Fear & Greed Index. Roughnecks, another key participant, confirmed the suspension, citing inefficiencies in current mining practices. Both groups remain committed to the principles of BIP-110. Altcoins under observation may experience increased volatility as Bitcoin miners adjust their strategies. No timeline has been provided for resuming signaling.
