Pryzm to Shut Down Mainnet in Early 2026, PRYZM Plummets 80%

Pryzm announced on December 16, 2025, that its mainnet will shut down in early 2026 due to an unsustainable economic model. Users must merge Yield and Principal Tokens and redeem Collateral Tokens quickly. The project will also introduce a token burn mechanism for PRYZM holders to access an Ethereum DeFi project. PRYZM has fallen nearly 80% in 24 hours, with a market cap of around $52,657.57, according to Coingecko.
