PANews, June 30: Digital asset infrastructure provider Privy has announced that developers can now issue payment cards directly linked to users’ DeFi vaults. When users make purchases with the card, transactions are settled in stablecoins; the wallet grants Stripe a one-time approval to withdraw funds from the vault, automatically handling redemption, unwrapping, and settlement without requiring manual withdrawals. Privy states that user funds continue to earn yields within the vault until the exact moment of payment. The card, issued by Lead Bank via Stripe as a prepaid Visa debit card, is now open for early access applications by integrated teams.

Privy has partnered with Stripe to launch a DeFi vault-linked debit card, delivering token launch updates for developers and users. The card enables payments settled in stablecoins, automatically withdrawing shares from the vault to complete transactions. Funds remain in the DeFi vault to earn yield until payment is processed. Issued as a prepaid Visa card by Lead Bank, Privy is now accepting early applications for integration. This initiative opens new possibilities while addressing risks such as DeFi exploit scenarios.
