Prediction market data firm Oddpool joins Kalshi

ChainCatcher report: Predictive market data startup Oddpool has announced its integration with Kalshi. Oddpool stated that Ritesh and its founder graduated from Y Combinator this spring and completed a $3 million seed round, after which they have been building the tools necessary for institutional adoption of predictive markets, treating them as legitimate asset classes. Oddpool chose to enter the predictive market space because it enables information aggregation by matching buyers and sellers and determining prices through open bidding. Traditional derivatives markets have already established price discovery for key economic inputs such as commodities, energy, and interest rates; predictive markets extend this further to broader domains including politics, sports, climate, and culture. The company has been developing a data layer to help institutions, economists, policymakers, and business owners interpret data and support decision-making. Both parties believe that joining Kalshi will enable them to build from within the ecosystem.
