The PONS rally is supported by the token purchase from Uniswap Labs, elevated protocol fees and continued buybacks and burns. However, because the size and price of the purchase remain undisclosed, short-term trading may still include a substantial expectations-driven component.

KuCoin Flash reports that, as of publication, PONS is trading at $0.6695, up 23.47% over the past 24 hours. The price reached a high of $0.7415 and a low of $0.5237, while 24-hour trading volume recorded on the KuCoin market page totaled approximately $15.94 million. PONS has gained 401.19% over the past seven days.

Pons is a non-custodial token-launch platform operating on Robinhood Chain. Users can create and trade fixed-supply tokens through bonding curves. Once the required liquidity conditions are met, eligible assets graduate into Uniswap V4 liquidity pools, connecting token issuance on the Pons platform with the trading infrastructure of Uniswap V4.

The Pons team announced that Uniswap Labs had purchased PONS for “long-term alignment” between the two parties. The official Uniswap account subsequently reposted the announcement. According to The Defiant, the post received more than 200,000 views within two hours. Neither party disclosed the number of tokens purchased, the transaction price, the purchasing method or the wallet holding the position. The development should therefore be described as a strategic token purchase and a deepening relationship, rather than an acquisition of the project.

Protocol activity also provides fundamental support. DefiLlama data show that the Pons platform generated approximately $6.4 million in fees and $1.26 million in protocol revenue over the past 24 hours, with 30-day fees reaching approximately $46.82 million. Around 80% of protocol revenue is used to buy back and burn PONS. The project team said that 29.34% of the maximum token supply had been burned.

CoinDesk previously reported that the platform processed approximately $544 million in daily trading volume and hosted nearly 25,000 new token launches, placing Pons fourth among protocols tracked by DefiLlama for daily fees at the time. The token purchase by Uniswap Labs, elevated platform activity and the expanding burn program have collectively strengthened market attention toward the value-accrual mechanism of PONS.

From a catalyst perspective, the rally has clear event-driven support. The purchase of PONS by Uniswap Labs is a confirmed project-side development, while rising protocol fees and the buyback-and-burn mechanism provide measurable fundamental support. However, the size of the purchase remains undisclosed, meaning the entire price increase cannot be attributed directly to the transaction.
