Odaily Planet Daily reports that Polymarket has hired its first Chief Financial Officer, as the prediction market company seeks new investment and aims to regain momentum after falling behind its major competitor, Kalshi.
The company stated that Warren Jenson joined Polymarket this week, having previously held senior finance roles at the media research firm Nielsen and the marketing company LiveRamp. At 69, he brings decades more experience than the company’s 28-year-old co-founder and CEO, Shayne Coplan. “Warren has led the finance functions of some of the world’s most important companies, and his experience is critical to everything we build going forward,” said Coplan.
