Polish Parliament has reapproved the Crypto-Assets Market Act, overriding President Karol Nawrocki’s veto. The bill, which aligns with EU’s MiCA framework, gives the Polish Financial Supervision Authority broad powers, including website blocks and heavy fines. Opponents warn it could hurt liquidity and crypto markets, pushing firms abroad. The Senate will now review the bill, which may return to the president for final approval. The law also includes provisions for Countering the Financing of Terrorism.
