Pi Network has completed the SLICE token distribution via Pi Launchpad, marking a key network upgrade step. Over 242,000 Pioneers swapped 15.92 million Test-Pi for 10 million SLICE. The move focuses on DeFi education, including swaps and liquidity pools. Crypto price news shows Pi Network holding near $0.083, with $0.090 as the next target and $0.095–$0.10 as resistance.
  • Pi Launchpad completes the distribution of its second testnet token, SLICE.
  • More than 242,000 Pioneers committed 15.92 million Test-Pi during testing.
  • PI must reclaim $0.090 before challenging resistance between $0.095 and $0.10.

Pi Network price is trading near $0.083 after the team completed SLICE distribution through Pi Launchpad. The update gives Pioneers access to allocation data, token prices, a liquidity pool and a new tracking chart. PI remains under pressure after failing to hold above $0.10, leaving traders focused on nearby support and resistance levels.

Pi Network Price Holds Weak Structure After SLICE Update

In a blog post, Pi Network said more than 242,000 Pioneers joined the SLICE test from June 11 to June 28. Participants committed 15.92 million Test-Pi for 10 million SLICE test tokens. The project designed the exercise to teach users about swaps, liquidity pools and automated token pricing.

The Launchpad now displays each user’s allocation, launch price and effective price. It also provides access to the SLICE and Test-Pi pool. A chart tracks how the test token’s price changes as users complete swaps.

SLICE exists only on Testnet and will never move to Mainnet. Pi Network uses the exercise to collect feedback before developing a future Mainnet launch process.

Pi Network Price Faces Resistance Near the $0.090 Level

Pi Network price stood near $0.0832 on July 25 after losing ground during the previous session. The token has struggled since its latest recovery failed above $0.10, keeping the broader short-term structure bearish.

Immediate support sits around $0.080, followed by the $0.075 to $0.078 range. A deeper decline could reopen the recent low near $0.070. Buyers must first reclaim $0.090 before testing the stronger $0.095 to $0.10 supply zone.

Pi Network price also remains far below the declining 200-period moving average cited near $0.159. That gap keeps rebounds vulnerable to selling. The SLICE distribution improves Launchpad functionality, but it does not directly create demand for the tradable PI token.

The reported 127.5 million PI unlock figure referred to a 30-day period beginning in late June. That older estimate should not be presented as the current unlock schedule or linked directly to present selling pressure.
