In accordance with PANews, Phantom Wallet CEO Brandon Millman stated in an Empire podcast interview that the company has no intention of launching its own blockchain or developing products for institutional users. He emphasized that Phantom will continue to focus on consumer experience within existing ecosystems like Solana. The team is also working on expanding its product line, including Phantom Cash and the upcoming Phantom Terminal. Regarding an IPO, Millman noted that while Phantom has the potential to become one of the few on-chain consumer companies to go public, the company currently has no concrete plans due to the operational burdens involved. Instead, Phantom prefers to secure sufficient private funding from existing investors such as A16Z, Paradigm, and Sequoia.
