Persistence is undergoing a substantial strategic transition. In June 2026, the project acknowledged that its previous crypto-infrastructure and BTCFi direction had not generated sufficient durable demand. The team shifted its primary focus toward enterprise AI services, including AUDIT.one, implementation support and managed AI employees. The project also stated that the transition does not currently provide XPRT with revenue rights, price commitments or new token-backed financial benefits.
KuCoin Flash reports that, as of publication, XPRT/USDT is trading at 0.0059294 USDT, up 32.20% over the past 24 hours. The price recovered from 0.0044410 USDT to 0.0068632 USDT before retreating approximately 13.60% from the high. The move follows a sustained decline through September and October and is best characterized as a low-base recovery.
XPRT remains the native asset of Persistence Core-1 and is used for staking, governance, network fees and transfers. The network, staking functions, governance, Persistence DEX access and BridgeKitty remain available. The official project history makes clear that the strategic update does not change the existing utility of XPRT or introduce new financial benefits.
The rally should therefore not be treated as direct evidence that the AI business creates value for XPRT. A more measured explanation combines deeply depressed pricing, renewed attention around the strategic transition and limited liquidity. KuCoin turnover shown in the supplied market data was only about 4,310 USDT over 24 hours, meaning relatively small orders can produce outsized price changes.
The crypto infrastructure is now operating with a narrower scope. Core-1 and BridgeKitty remain available, while other products have moved toward maintenance or deprecation. Commercial success in enterprise AI and the creation of a formal link between that business and XPRT are separate questions.
