Citing TechFlow, on December 22, the People's Bank of China (PBOC) announced a one-time credit repair policy under broader regulatory policy adjustments. The notice covers overdue personal debts up to 10,000 RMB from 2020 to 2025. Those who settle the debt by March 31, 2026, will see the record removed from credit reports.
