PANews, October 20: papertrade announced it will temporarily disable external transfers of the PAPER token, as external PAPER perpetual contracts could be used to short the liquidity pool’s solvency, lowering the barrier for manipulation attacks. The protocol will also adjust fees: positions closed within 6 bps of the entry price during peak trading hours, or within 10 bps during off-peak hours, will be subject to the new fee structure, impacting bot strategies approximately 15 times more than regular traders. Token issuance will now be adjusted to mint approximately 0.1% of supply for every $1 million in losses. This upgrade will also introduce builder codes via a whitelist, which will take effect 24 hours after being added to the time lock.
