The P2P rally is supported by expectations surrounding the Sentinel migration to Solana and the decentralized-bandwidth narrative, but no single catalyst has been implemented alongside the move, while limited turnover and shallow market depth may have amplified the latest price increase.

KuCoin Flash reports that, as of publication, P2P is trading at 0.0000636 USDT on the KuCoin spot market, up 24.7% over the past 24 hours. The price reached a high of 0.0000684 USDT and a low of 0.0000492 USDT, while trading volume totaled approximately 231 million P2P, equivalent to about 12,970 USDT. The difference between the 24-hour high and low represents a swing of approximately 39%, indicating substantial price expansion in a market with limited trading depth.

P2P is the native token of the Sentinel network and was previously traded under the DVPN ticker. Sentinel is positioned as decentralized bandwidth and privacy infrastructure that allows developers to build dVPN applications using an open-source protocol. According to data published on the project website, applications built on Sentinel have served more than 1.4 million users, while the network includes over 1,500 independently operated servers across more than 90 countries.

According to the official documentation, P2P is used for bandwidth payments, validator and delegator staking, on-chain governance and transaction fees. The Sentinel protocol also allocates 20% of bandwidth payments generated by dVPN nodes to P2P stakers, while the remaining 80% is distributed to node operators. The mechanism links part of the staking return to actual bandwidth demand rather than relying entirely on token issuance.

Regarding project development, the official Sentinel X account said on August 19 that work on the migration to Solana remained in progress and that several approaches were being evaluated to provide holders with a secure migration route. One proposed approach uses a phased burn-and-mint process under which P2P is burned on the existing Sentinel chain before corresponding tokens are issued on Solana. However, the final structure, implementation date and conversion procedure have not been fully confirmed.

CoinMarketCap data show a circulating supply of approximately 35.129 billion P2P, a market capitalization of about $2.17 million and market-wide 24-hour trading volume of roughly $46,400. Relative to the circulating market capitalization, trading activity on KuCoin and across the broader market remains limited, meaning that comparatively modest buying demand may generate substantial price movements.

From a catalyst perspective, no single major project announcement implemented alongside the latest move has been confirmed. The rally more likely reflects a combination of expectations surrounding the Solana migration, renewed interest in privacy and DePIN infrastructure, and technical buying. KuCoin market data indicate near-term resistance around 0.0000684–0.0000700 USDT. Initial support is located near 0.0000600 USDT, while a break below that level could expose the 24-hour low around 0.0000492 USDT.
