Concurrently, OpenFX is launching a multi-currency account service. McIntyre previously co-founded the neobank Novo, which serves over 300,000 businesses and is valued at more than $700 million. The account enables customers to pay in local currencies, allowing companies to hold incoming funds directly without immediate conversion. OpenFX’s initial offering includes a USD account that supports receiving and sending funds to and from over 100 countries via ACH, Fedwire, and SWIFT, with seamless integration with stablecoins such as USDC.
