OpenClaw installation services are surging, with certain altcoins gaining market traction. In China, Taobao and Xianyu list remote setup services ranging from 30 to 5,000 CNY, mostly between 100 and 200 CNY. In the U.S., SetupClaw charges up to $6,000 in the Bay Area. Over 42,000 OpenClaw instances are exposed online, and ClawHub has known security vulnerabilities. Traders are advised to monitor the Fear & Greed Index amid rising risks.

According to 1M AI News monitoring, as interest in OpenClaw continues to rise, paid services for its installation and deployment have grown significantly across multiple platforms both domestically and internationally. A field survey conducted on March 4 by the WeChat public account "Digital Life Kazek" found that the author inquired about pricing from over ten stores on Taobao and Xianyu; online remote installation quotes ranged from 30 to 5,000 yuan, with most falling between 100 and 200 yuan. On-site local installation was priced at approximately 500 yuan. The author booked an on-site technician in Beijing for 499 yuan, who was not technically trained but previously worked in internet operations. After posting on Xiaohongshu, he now receives multiple orders daily, serving individual clients across industries such as film and media, finance, and internet. The technician admitted he rarely uses OpenClaw himself, primarily using it to schedule automated推送 of AI news.

Overseas, according to reports from 36Kr and Kuaitech, the platform SetupClaw quotes $3,000 for managed installation, $5,000 for remote configuration, and $6,000 for on-site configuration in the San Francisco Bay Area. Its founder, Michael, claims the business "has the potential to generate millions in annual revenue," though no order volume data supports this claim. Meanwhile, security risks are also escalating. According to scanning data cited by 36Kr, over 42,000 OpenClaw instances are exposed on the public internet, with more than 90% vulnerable to direct authentication bypass by attackers. Cisco’s security team has discovered malicious software disguised as plugins on the ClawHub marketplace. "Digital Life Kha'Zix" also noted that on-site installations carry risks of backdoor insertion, making it difficult for users to verify whether the installed content is an untampered original version.

On March 3, crypto industry KOL Dovey Wan commented that the first batch of developers to install OpenClaw in the Bay Area have already earned enough to cover "10 years of Claude Max Plan."
