Odaily Planet Daily reports that presentation startup NextSlide has joined OpenAI, with its team members now involved in ChatGPT-related work. NextSlide’s founder, Ahmed Beshry, stated that the company previously developed a product capable of turning prompts, notes, documents, or research materials into editable presentations. Beshry added that, following their integration into OpenAI, the team will continue developing AI products to help users create, communicate, and express their ideas.
The financial terms of this transaction were not disclosed. Beshry said the acquisition actually took place earlier this year, and this announcement was issued several months after the deal was completed. (Techcrunch)
