KuCoin Flash reports that, as of publication, NYM is trading at 0.03200 USDT, up 72.97% over the past 24 hours. The price reached a high of 0.03750 USDT and a low of 0.01844 USDT. Trading volume for the NYM/USDT spot pair totaled approximately 12.52 million NYM, equivalent to about 355,980 USDT.
Notably, the price of NYM has retreated approximately 14.7% from the 24-hour high, indicating substantial profit-taking following the rapid surge. However, the price remains above 0.030 USDT.
Nym is a decentralized network-privacy project centered on the Nym Mixnet and NymVPN. Unlike conventional privacy networks that primarily conceal browsing routes, the Nym Mixnet uses uniform packet sizes, cover traffic, packet mixing and transmission delays to reduce the ability of third parties to track users through IP addresses, connection timing and traffic patterns. NYM is used to pay for network access, reward Mixnet operators and participate in node staking.
A CoinMarketCap market analysis published on September 7 attributed the rally primarily to rotation into privacy-focused cryptocurrencies. As privacy assets such as Zcash strengthened, speculative capital reportedly began searching for smaller assets within the same sector. At the time of the analysis, market-wide trading volume for NYM had increased 175.83% to approximately $4.28 million, confirming unusually strong trading activity.
CoinMarketCap identified 0.030 USDT as short-term support and 0.040 USDT as the next psychological resistance level. A decline below 0.028 USDT could indicate that momentum generated by the privacy-sector rotation is weakening. These levels broadly correspond with the KuCoin market structure: the current price remains above 0.030 USDT, while the 0.03750–0.040 USDT area has become immediate resistance.
Regarding project development, Nym announced on August 17 that Peach Bitcoin had natively integrated the Nym Mixnet, becoming the first peer-to-peer Bitcoin marketplace to adopt the network. The integration can conceal IP addresses and network metadata generated during P2P transactions through a five-hop Mixnet. However, Peach currently provides the service free of charge, meaning the integration does not automatically create new purchasing demand for NYM.
NymVPN v2026.11 has also introduced Mixnet Tuning, Server Families and a beta Geo-exclusion feature, together with faster connections and improved access in restricted regions. The project previously launched a Pay as You Go model that allows users and third-party applications to pay with NYM and obtain anonymous zk-nym credentials without creating an account or purchasing a subscription. Compared with the free Peach integration, Pay as You Go has a more direct connection to practical token demand.
