The HBM configuration has been reduced to approximately one-fifth of the original due to several factors: the cancellation of the four-die Rubin Ultra design, reducing the number of cubes to eight; lowering the stacking height from 16-hi to 8-hi; and using HBM4 with 24Gb dies instead of HBM4E with 32Gb dies. An upgraded 8-hi HBM4E version may be released later.
