Odaily Planet Daily report: Chip design company NVIDIA announced its financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2027, reporting revenue of $96.221 billion, more than doubling year-over-year and exceeding both the company’s prior guidance of $91 billion and market expectations of $92 billion by over $4 billion. Operating profit reached $63.734 billion, more than doubling year-over-year.

Data center revenue reached $89 billion, an 18% year-over-year increase, accounting for 92.5% of total revenue. Of this, hyperscale revenue was $48.7 billion and ACIE revenue was $40.3 billion. NVIDIA stated that the Blackwell Ultra GB300 has begun shipping, and revenue related to the Chinese market, including the H200, accounts for less than 1%.

NVIDIA expects revenue for the third quarter of fiscal year 2027 to reach $108 billion, representing approximately 12% sequential growth and marking the first time quarterly revenue exceeds $10 billion.
