NVIDIA announced an AI computing partner program to provide cloud vendors with capacity guarantees. The program enables startups to lease GPUs in exchange for revenue sharing or equity. NVIDIA will reclaim unused capacity if it remains unleased, helping lower-credit firms secure financing for data centers. Previously, the company backed $6.3 billion in unused power for CoreWeave and is now negotiating a $50 billion deal with OpenAI. AI and crypto news continues to highlight major tech firms expanding into blockchain and computing. Recent inflation data has also driven investment in high-capacity infrastructure.

ChainThink reports that on July 2, according to relevant sources, NVIDIA is advancing its "AI Computing Partner Program," providing guaranteed computing capacity to startup cloud service providers.

If the GPUs it procures remain unrented, NVIDIA will fund the rental of the idle computing power in exchange for a share of the cloud service revenue or equity.

This arrangement provides credit endorsement for cloud startups with lower credit ratings and weaker financing capabilities, helping them secure loans needed for data center construction and GPU procurement.

The report mentioned that NVIDIA previously committed to guaranteeing CoreWeave for $6.3 billion in unsold computing power through 2032;

We are also currently negotiating similar financial guarantees for OpenAI’s planned $500 billion data center.
