In accordance with Blockbeats, on November 6, 2025, Notional Finance announced a critical update for V3 users, revealing that the total bad debt related to the Balancer vulnerability amounts to 641.4 ETH on the mainnet and 80.2 ETH on Arbitrum. Users holding positions in the affected Balancer/Aura leveraged vaults will lose 100% of their position value. Ethereum lenders and liquidity providers on the mainnet and Arbitrum will experience significant account value reductions, including those who used ETH as collateral for loans. Other users' account values remain unaffected. Notional V3 will stop operating on both mainnet and Arbitrum due to the large scale of bad debt. A detailed user withdrawal plan will be announced soon. Users with cross-asset lending positions on Notional will be automatically migrated to Aave. Due to the gradual shutdown of Notional V3, the platform will no longer be able to accurately display liquidation risks or allow users to manage their positions.
