ChainCatcher report: According to official announcements, global cross-border payment infrastructure company Nium has acquired the crypto-native non-custodial wallet and card issuance company Cypher. The two companies will combine their digital asset and global payment network capabilities to advance fiat-to-chain payment services. Meanwhile, Cypher’s existing platform—including its consumer app, enterprise card platform, and CYPR ecosystem—will be gradually shut down and will officially cease operations on September 6, 2026.
