According to ME News, on October 31 (UTC+8), South Korea’s NH Nonghyup Bank signed a business agreement with MoonPay and Korean fintech company Finger on “collaboration for financial services and infrastructure based on digital assets.” The three parties plan to jointly explore applications of digital assets in financial and payment scenarios, with key areas of cooperation including global digital asset financial services such as personal cross-border remittances and corporate payment settlements, integration of digital assets with card merchant payment infrastructure, connectivity between global digital asset infrastructure and South Korea’s domestic financial system, and joint proof-of-concept (PoC) trials and commercial viability assessments.
Under the agreement, the three parties will leverage Nonghyup Bank’s financial infrastructure, MoonPay’s global digital asset network, and Finger’s financial platform technology to implement a global payment settlement model.
