About $11.8 million was withdrawn from the hot wallets of payments company Triple-A across several blockchains. Onchain analyst Specter reported this.

According to him, suspicious outflows were recorded on TRON, Ethereum, TON, and Solana, and then on the Bitcoin blockchain. The attackers initially withdrew more than $9.3 million, then swapped the assets, bridged them to Ethereum, and began consolidating them into a single wallet.

Later, the analyst reported that the attack continued for the next 31 hours. During that time, another roughly $1.8 million was stolen on the Bitcoin and TRON networks, bringing total losses to about $11.8 million.

According to Specter, at the time of the posts, new deposits to Triple-A addresses were allegedly still coming in and being withdrawn by the attackers almost immediately. He also urged users to be cautious.

Coin Bureau also reported a likely incident. According to them, funds were withdrawn from Triple-A’s hot wallets on TRON, Ethereum, Polygon, and Arbitrum, and were consolidated into 5,227 ETH.

So far, the company has not disclosed any official details on the cause of the incident or how the hot wallets were compromised.

As a reminder, hackers previously stole more than $24 million during an attack on the AFX DeFi protocol on the Arbitrum network.
