BlockBeats report: On August 31, blockchain security firm Blockaid stated that it detected an exploit on Flow EVM targeting More Markets (More Labs). The attacker successfully drained More Markets’ WFLOW lending reserves by exploiting Ankr’s bonded LST (liquid staking token) in conjunction with the E-Mode mechanism.


According to Blockaid monitoring, the attacker transferred approximately 15.5 million WFLOW from the mFlow WFLOW reserve, with an estimated impacted amount of $9.3 million. The associated attack transaction cluster also included post-exploitation fund transfers. The exact losses and the attacker’s fund destinations are still under investigation.
