Moonshot seeks up to a 30% revenue share from services related to Kimi K3 on Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, with terms substantially consistent with those offered to large customers using open-weight models.

Currently, Moonshot has signed similar agreements with some smaller cloud platforms. If negotiations are successful, this agreement could become the first significant model revenue-sharing partnership between a Chinese AI company and a major U.S. cloud provider.
