MoonPay has added support for hardware signatures in its AI agent tool, MoonPay Agents. The new system enables AI agents to execute trading strategies across Ethereum and Solana, with all transactions requiring user approval via Ledger devices. When agents identify cross-chain yield opportunities, they can request user signatures to transfer USDC between chains, keeping private keys securely stored in hardware wallets. This update aligns with increasing demand for secure automation while maintaining support and resistance checks prior to execution.

PANews, March 15: According to PRNewswire, crypto payment provider MoonPay has announced native hardware signing support for its AI agent tool, MoonPay Agents. Under the new architecture, AI agents can execute trading strategies across major blockchains such as Ethereum and Solana, but all transactions still require user confirmation via a Ledger device. When an agent identifies a cross-chain yield opportunity, it can request user signature to bridge USDC from Ethereum to another network to complete the operation, while private keys never leave the hardware signing device.
