According to ME News, on July 24 (UTC+8), cryptocurrency payment infrastructure company Moonpay has added support for Discover Network payments, enabling Discover cardholders to buy and sell cryptocurrencies through the Moonpay platform. Discover Network has become Moonpay’s third major card network supported in the U.S., following Visa and Mastercard. Moonpay stated that this support is now available across its more than 500 business partners, including wallets, exchanges, and apps. Moonpay also supports Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Venmo, bank transfers, and regional payment methods. Founded in 2019, Moonpay serves over 30 million customers across 180 countries and holds a New York State BitLicense, a New York State Limited Purpose Trust Charter, multiple-state money transmitter licenses in the U.S., and authorization under the EU’s MiCA regulation.
