MOJO Founder Critiques Opinion and YZi Labs' Incubation Model

ChainCatcher report: Forest Bai, founder of MOJO, posted comments on X regarding Opinion and YZi Labs. He stated that Opinion had received positive feedback in the primary market and was recommended to him by friends, but he still viewed the project as niche and unremarkable. He added that by that stage, he had already lost faith in 99.9% of primary market projects; even those with stellar teams and substantial funding often pursued mediocre ideas targeting extremely narrow, self-referential markets, ultimately delivering outsourced-quality products—let alone most projects whose key elements fell below average standards. Regarding YZi Labs, Forest Bai acknowledged the firm possesses top-tier industry connections and deep capital, but overly trusts its ability to turn ordinary projects into gold. He admitted such arrangements may indeed facilitate listings and user distribution, but if the project itself holds limited value, this is not empowerment—it is merely depleting their own resources. He also noted that globally, successful incubator models are exceedingly rare; any team with capability, integrity, and vision would refuse to be incubated at a low valuation while being locked into an ecosystem.
