According to monitoring by the chain security platform Blockaid (@blockaid_), the MILC Platform cross-chain bridge experienced a private key compromise on both the BNB Chain and Ethereum. The attacker exploited a historical bridge administrator wallet to grant DEFAULT_ADMIN_ROLE and MANAGER_ROLE permissions to their own address, then extracted assets from the bridge contract and transferred administrative control to their wallet. Confirmed losses include approximately 97,003 USDT (on BNB Chain) and approximately 39.21 ETH (on Ethereum Chain, withdrawn via Rhino.fi), totaling approximately $161,000.
