BlockBeats report: On July 30, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella confirmed on the earnings call that the company will launch a Copilot "super app" this year, integrating Copilot chat, GitHub Copilot as a coding assistant, and agentic AI capabilities to serve both consumer and enterprise use cases.
Nadella stated that Copilot is evolving from a chat assistant into a collaboration platform (Cowork) and autonomous agents (Autopilots). “This quarter, we integrated the Copilot experience, including code capabilities, into a super app—a significant milestone, and we’ll share more details in the future.”
Previously, reports indicated that Microsoft is developing an AI super-app that integrates Copilot chatbot, GitHub Copilot, Copilot Cowork, and Autopilot systems. Meanwhile, OpenAI has recently launched ChatGPT Work, an application that combines ChatGPT with the AI programming tool Codex, further intensifying competition in the AI assistant platform space.
