Metaplanet to Begin Trading in the U.S. via ADR on OTC Market

Metaplanet is now available in the U.S. via ADR on the OTC market under the ticker MPJPY. The listing gives U.S. investors access to the firm’s Bitcoin balance sheet. Altcoins to watch may include this new entrant as trading volume builds. The ADR is backed by existing equity. Metaplanet has a Miami office with $15 million in funding. It holds 30,823 BTC and paused purchases in September. The firm’s valuation is now 1.12 times its Bitcoin net asset value.
