According to ChainCatcher, Metaplanet, the fourth-largest Bitcoin treasury company, has paused its Bitcoin purchases for the tenth consecutive week since September 30, 2025. In contrast, Strategy recently spent $962.7 million to buy 10,624 BTC at $90,615 each. Metaplanet, known as the 'Asian MicroStrategy,' had accumulated over 30,000 BTC since April 2024. The company has shifted focus to stock buybacks and capital structure optimization, aligning with the broader trend of digital asset treasury (DAT) companies prioritizing risk control over aggressive accumulation.
