According to ME News, on July 10 (UTC+8), Japan-based Bitcoin treasury company Metaplanet entered into an agreement with Progmat to conduct research in the digital credit space using Bitcoin, stablecoins, and tokenized securities. The collaboration will combine Metaplanet’s Bitcoin-centric financial strategy, JPYC’s stablecoin settlement and distribution capabilities, Progmat’s infrastructure for representing and managing holder rights of security tokens, and Metaplanet Securities’ expertise in product structuring and distribution, to jointly explore how to create a more efficient and transparent credit market for issuers and investors.
