Meta and Google are adjusting their AI computing and capital expenditure plans. During the Q2 earnings call, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg confirmed the company is not currently selling compute power but may do so in the future. Most resources will support AI models, agents, and core growth, with plans to expand to large enterprise clients. Both companies slightly increased their 2026 CAPEX forecasts, with Google potentially raising it further in 2027. Google reported negative cash flow for the first quarter, while Meta’s cash flow declined 91% year-over-year. Microsoft’s CFO noted that cloud demand continues to outstrip supply, and Google will expand both internal computing capacity and third-party procurement. Google CEO Sundar Pichai stated that AGI is the top priority, leveraging in-house TPU resources and expanding their utilization. Investors are closely monitoring the Fear & Greed Index, while altcoins under observation show mixed signals in the volatile market.

Odaily Planet Daily reports: At the company’s second-quarter earnings call, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated that Meta currently does not sell computing power to customers, but such a business is in planning. He noted that Meta’s substantial computing resources will be used to train AI models, support agent products, and grow core business operations, while the company also expects to develop services for large enterprise clients.

Google and Meta both slightly increased their capital expenditure forecasts for this year, with Google indicating that related spending may rise further by 2027, while Microsoft maintained its capital expenditure guidance. Google's cash flow turned negative for the first time in the second quarter, and Meta's cash flow declined by 91% year-over-year.

Microsoft CFO Amy Hood stated that customer demand for its cloud services still exceeds available capacity. Last week, Google said it would build additional internal computing power while also purchasing more third-party computing resources to meet customer demand.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai stated that Google’s primary priority in using its custom Tensor Processing Units (TPUs) is to ensure adequate resources are allocated to the frontiers of AGI development. Google is working with partners to deploy TPUs in additional data centers to unlock further capacity.
